How to Upload Files to Trackmymail.com : ZIP Count file/Map file

What is the ZIP Count /Map File?

The color coded map option is a feature available from Trackmymail.com with two important benefits. The color coded map reflects the delivery results of your job- a great visual tool to monitor activity at a glance and quickly determine which areas have been scanned. As an added benefit, when you use this feature we can compare the number of Planet Coded pieces mailed to the actual number of pieces scanned for delivery- down to the ZIP Code level. In order to provide this information, we need you to upload a file telling us how many Planet Coded pieces you are mailing to each zip code.

If you are uploading a Mailing Detail Data file, you’ll see an option to have us create the ZIP Count/Map file for you from the information that you are providing, so you may not need to send a ZIP Count/Map file. See Mailing Detail Data instructions for further information.

Creating a ZIP Count/Map file
In order to display this information, we must know how much mail you sent to each zip code. You will need to create a tab delimited text file from your mailing data with the number of Planet Coded pieces sent to each ZIP code. There are three fields in this file, and they must be presented in this order: The column headers are not necessary.
