How to Upload Files to Trackmymail.com : Mailing Detail Data File What is the Mailing Detail File? If you provide a Mailing Detail Data file, Trackmymail.com will automatically create a ZIP Count/Map file for you. You do not have to create both files. All you need to do is to select the option to “Create a ZIP Count/Map file from this data” as part of the upload process. Creating
a “Mailing Detail Data” file Option 1- Name is not parsed, contained to one field. The fields, order and maximum length of characters in the field are
as follows: *Planet CodeŽ 20 *These fields must contain data. Important: Each field must be represented whether or not it is populated. Your non parsed name files (option1) will always have at least 10 fields- the postnet field is optional. Please do not include header rows in your file. Option 2- Name is parsed out into multiple fields. The fields, order and maximum length of characters in the field are as follows: *Planet CodeŽ 20 *These fields must contain data. Important: Each field must be represented whether or not it is populated. For example, your parsed name files will always have at least 14 fields (Field 15 is the postnet field and it is optional in both formats.) and your non parsed name files will always have at least 10 fields. Please do not include header rows in your file. Please save your file as a .txt or .csv file. Trackmymail.com’s automated upload system does not accept Excel files.
