TrackMyVote
The secure, reliable way to track absentee ballots to the voter and back.
With TrackMyVote, you can track the delivery and return of votes in absentee and vote-by-mail balloting programs, assure the accuracy of your mail-based balloting methods, and provide an added layer of accountability to your absentee ballot process.

TrackMyVote uses PLANET™ codes, a postal service technology created specifically to track mail as it travels through postal sorting equipment to its destination. With TrackMyVote, you watch your ballots travel through the system — and know when they’ve been delivered.

You can choose from several levels of TrackMyVote service.

TrackMyVote Basic — tracking outbound ballots to the voter
You notify TrackMyVote about an impending mailing, including how many pieces are to be mailed, when the mailing is scheduled to take place, and the post office from which they are being mailed.

TrackMyVote issues a Planet Code® for you to print as a bar code above the address on each mailing.

As the mail moves through the system, TrackMyVote creates tracking reports that you can access through the Internet. These reports measure delivery by state and zip code, and can even be viewed at the household level.

TrackMyVote can also generate reports of all of the delivered pieces by postnet.

TrackMyVote Enhanced — adding a voter ID
For the enhanced service offering, you create an outbound tracking job and upload a file to trackmyvote.com that includes a voter ID connected to a specific postnet code, the delivery code made up of the ZIP+4 and street address.

With this additional element in place, you can download detailed reports of everyone who has — and has not — received a ballot. You could also include additional information in the upload, such as name and address, to make it easier to track a missing ballot to a specific person.

TrackMyVote Round-Trip — following the ballot back from the voter
In our most complete service offering, you create an outbound job as you did before, but you also ask trackmyvote.com to assign a unique inbound PLANET code to every returning ballot.

You can then upload a job file to trackmyvote.com containing the voter ID, the outbound postnet, and the Planet Code®.

With that information in the database, trackmyvote.com can look up any voter and get details on if they received the ballot, when it arrived — and when they mailed it back. The system also includes the capability of having individual voters look up their own records, at your discretion.

TrackMyVote offers solutions for mailers of all levels of sophistication and volume, including peel and stick labels for tracking without having to even print a PLANET barcode.
